We are happy to announce that the FAIRiCUBE project has successfully completed its midterm review over the summer. This important milestone marks a significant achievement in the project’s progress, as it involved a thorough evaluation of our work to date in collaboration with our project officer from the European Commission and external expert reviewers. Their feedback and expertise have played a crucial role in guiding us through this process, ensuring that we remain on track to deliver on our ambitious goals.
The midterm review was both fruitful and productive, allowing us to reflect on the achievements and challenges encountered during the first half of the project. Following the review, we have successfully submitted all the revised deliverables, marking the end of the first reporting period.
With the midterm review now behind us, our focus shifts towards the second reporting period. During this next phase, we will concentrate on further developing the FAIRiCUBE use cases and finalizing the services provided by the FAIRiCUBE Hub. These use cases will highlight the potential of FAIRiCUBE in real-world applications, particularly in areas such as Urban climate change adaptation, Sustainable agriculture for biodiversity conservation, Environmental impact on genetic variation, Energy circularity in residential buildings and Vegetation communities classification.
Moreover, the FAIRiCUBE Hub, which acts as the central platform for accessing the project’s services and data, will see significant advancements. The finalisation of these services is critical to ensure that users can easily access, process, and analyze geospatial data within the framework of FAIR principles.
As we move forward, we remain committed to achieving the project’s objectives and look forward to the exciting developments ahead. For more information about the FAIRiCUBE Hub, please visit FAIRiCUBE Hub.
