Looking for an EO cloud platform to process large EO datasets without hassle?

The Euro Data Cube (EDC) is a one-stop-shop for EO – you can find all important EO and derived data products at one place. But the EDC is more than a simple data store, it is a combination of several services providing compute and analysis capabilities, customization, results and product sharing as well as a Marketplace. Its big strength lies in the creation and usage of datacubes – a multi-dimensional array of datasets (e.g. a time-series over a defined area).

One of this services is the EDC EOxHub Workspace, which is a EO specialised, managed compute and storage environment to run Jupyter Notebooks and to host your applications. Here you can develop your code, run the analysis on large datasets and present your results. EDC EOxHub is also part of the “Network of Resources”” (NoR).

The Network of Resources (NoR) is an ESA initiative to facilitate the use of cloud environments by users, building on and enlarging the previous Open Science for Earth Observation (OSEO) call. NoR supports research, development and pre-commercial users to innovate their working practices, moving from a data download paradigm towards a bring the user to the data paradigm.

In the frame of the autumn Webinar session of NoR, to train on the various cloud platforms and services, EOX will present the EDC EOxHUB, which is already used in various projects e.g. FAIRiCUBE.

EOX will present the “Introduction to the EDC EOXHUB” on 15-Dec-23 from 13:00 – 14:00 CET

Whether you are a student or a professional in fields such as earth science, industry or education, these webinars welcome participants from all walks of the EO journey.
